 I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and somehow have been bringing strays and a few abused animals home at different seasons of my life. Heafy and Polly (our cats) , Peaches & Sammy (our dogs) were my first set of pets growing up. 

 I have some Shelter, volunteer experience but have been researching for over a year now and learning hands on from a local rescue how to help all these animals in need.  

 It's been a passion of mine to make sure I share and bring to Aloha Angels dog rescue the do’s and don’ts from my experiences over the years owning  animals and helping you  truly understand the responsibility of owning an animal because they are like a family member to most!  I get a chance to take some of my pain and mistakes and help others today. And share the importance of getting our beloved animals spayed and nurtured, I will encourage often. I believe our animals love, protect us and dedicate themselves to us literally until their last breath and we need to do the same for them. Let us be their voices!

Molly is a life long animal lover. At the age of 15 she worked in a pet store and then on a cattle ranch in Montana where she decided that she wanted to raise and care for animals. She graduated from Western Illinois University with a B.S in Animal Sciences. My name is Lisa and I'm a 59-year-young Home Caregiver.  The reason I got involved with Aloha Love Angels Pet Rescue is because I love dogs and I feel no dog deserves to be mistreated or abused.  All dogs deserve to be loved and treated like family.  "I'm never having babies; I'm only having puppies!" is what my 5-year-old self said to my stepfather.  

I have owned 7 dogs throughout my life, 5 of whom have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge and the 2 I currently own, Peanut & Zoey.  Peanut is my 11-year-old mixed terrier breed who I rescued at 6-weeks-old from a backyard where he was left all alone and covered in fleas.  Zoey is my 3 ½ -month-old puppy who is ¾ Chihuahua and ¼ ???  Zoey was given to me by my friend whose dog had a litter of 6 puppies, and she desperately needed to find homes for them.  Knowing my history of dog ownership, my friend begged me to take one of the puppies home because she knew the puppy would be loved deeply and well cared for.
